Chris has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1984 servicing all of Washington, Waukesha and Eastern Dodge Counties. She has experience in all aspects of marketing rural and urban homes, farms, vacant land short sales, foreclosures and REO properties.
A little history on Chris. . .
In 1979 Christiane
Berkel said “Auf Wiedersehen” to good old Germany and
started a new life in the United
States. Her education in Germany gave Chris a solid base to
work as a translator and administrative assistant for a commercial real estate
company in Milwaukee. The ever changing
world of real estate fascinated her.
Investment properties such as shopping centers, office buildings and multi-family
housing formed the background of her early real estate experience.
Since her
childhood, when daydreaming of living in a beautiful castle, Chris has been
fascinated by great architecture. Castles, Victorian mansions, historical
buildings, loghomes and cottages.This lifelong fascination and her
love for working with people culminated in her decision to become a real estate
broker.
Chris and her husband Ken have raised four children and are
the proud grandparents of Donovan, Isabelle and Maelee. (Another grandbaby will be arriving any day now)
