Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County Announces New Build Plans

 
 

Waukesha, Wis. (April 23, 2012) – The Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County is pleased to announce that build plans are in progress for their next two family home. The new home will be located right next door to the most recently completed home at 317 & 319 Bethesda Court, Waukesha, WI 53186.

The new build is sponsored in part by Thrivent Builds Homes and was designed by Mattes Architects & Designers, LLC.

The organization is currently seeking volunteers and crew chiefs for the upcoming build schedule. Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County utilizes a volunteer management system, Volunteer Up, to coordinate volunteers and their specific abilities with build needs. Interested volunteers can register through Volunteer Up on their website at www.hfhwaukesha.org.

The organization celebrated the completion of the most recent build with an Open House and Blessing Ceremony on March 24th. A number of volunteers, community members, and local government officials attended the event. Attendees were able to explore the homes and talk with the families who would soon inhabit them.

Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County works in partnership with God, his people, and partner families to enrich our community by building and renovating simple, decent, affordable housing to assist families of limited means achieve home ownership.
