Beaver Lake: 315 acres; upscale residences; quiet lake. Private Chenequa Golf club. Carry-in boat access only off Hwy 83. Excellent clarity. Crooked Lake: 58 acres, private, canoe and kayak access by Bark  River.  Upscale but few residences.  Very clear water.     Fowler Lake:  78 acres; City lake, yet quiet and scenic. Two-mile walking/biking bath  around the lake. Public boat ramp and city park. Annual Art Festival in  August. Upper Genesee Lake: 37 acres; non-motorized quiet lake. Great fishing. Carry on access only. 
Middle Genesee Lake: 93 acres; Largest of the Genesee Lakes, peaceful with an "up north" feeling. No public access. 
Lower Genesee Lake: 62 acres; peaceful with an "up north" feeling. Older cottages and larger upscale residences.
Golden Lake:  258 acres; Located on the Waukesha /Jefferson County line. Public boat ramp.
Hunters Lake:  65 acres; private lake for a quiet getaw
ay or lake access from one of the areas finest subdivisions "The Preserve at Hunters Lake".  
Lake Keesus: 227 acres; strong lake community. Cottages, updated homes and new construction dot the shoreline. Public ramp.  
Lac La Belle: 1,117 acres; upscale residences. One of Lake Country's premiere lakes. Public boat ramps & city beach. Very clear water. Moose Lake:  81 acres; mix of larger new homes and older summer cottages.  No public  boat access. Pristine lake. Good fishing. Sandy bottoms.
Nagawicka Lake: 958 acres; Very active lake recreation with a County  Park. Public access and boat ramps.
Upper Nashotah Lake:  133 acres; private; Nashotah House (Episcopal Seminary) owns large  parcel; few residences; Carry-in boat access only. Good fishing.
Lower Nashotah Lake: 92 acres; Private. Carry-in boat access only. One of few lakes supporting trout. Exclusive lake with "up north" feel. 
 Upper Nemahbin Lake:  283 acres;  Scenic natural shoreline gives "north woods" feel. Boat  ramp located on the channel between Upper & Lower Nemahbin  Lakes.
Lower Nemahbin Lake: 271 acres; Quiet fisherman's lake. Sandy shorelines. Public access and boat ramp on channel between lakes.
North Lake: 437 acres; Quiet lake; upscale residences and older cottages. Evergreen Condominiums. No public boat access.
Oconomowoc Lake:  767 acres; Exclusive; upscale residences. Private Oconomowoc Lake Club.  No public boat access, but boaters can gain access via the Oconomowoc  River. Okauchee Lake: 1,187  acres;  One of the busiest lakes in Waukesha County, restaurants, yacht  club, sail boat races, and other events. Public access and boat ramp.  Very good fishing lake.
Pewaukee Lake:  2,493 acres: Extremely active, heavily public use. Lake  Country's  largest and busiest lake. Two public boat ramps and carry-in access.
Pine Lake:  703 acres; Prestigious Lake Upscale residences and mansions; Very clear  water. Private island owned by Pine Lake Association. New public boat  launch. Wooded shoreline.  Pretty Lake: 54 acres; small town community and year round lake homes. Good fishing. Public boat ramp.  
Silver Lake: 222 acres; Quiet, private feeling; weekend restrictions. One public boat ramp. 
Waterville Lake:  68 acres; quiet, private lake living with larger homes and well manicured mature lots. Good swimming & boating.
