Oconomowoc Lake drew the attention of 'Old Money' families in the late 1800's and early 1900's. They flocked to this beautiful lake for the crystal clear water, sandy shorelines, and pristine woodland atmosphere.  They built grand homes on large parcels along the shoreline.  Many of the homes still stand today, inviting a new generation of exclusive owners.  With excellent fishing, ample space for other water activities, beautiful scenery, and breathtaking homes this lake countinues to be a highly coveted body of water.  Oconomowoc Lake homes trend towards the grand and exclusive with estates available over three million dollars and some Oconomowoc Lake homes parcels of land and tear-down homes are selling for over 1 million.
